World Invocation Day
Invocation, Electricity, and Cosmic Alignment
Introduction
Every year, World Invocation Day (June 11, 2025) provides a momentous opportunity to reflect on humanity's intricate connection to cosmic cycles, collective energies, and the sacred act of invocation. Rooted in spiritual tradition, this day invites us to consider invocation not merely as prayer but as an act akin to generating electricity. Using astrological archetypes and metaphysical principles, we explore how invocation sets the stage for greater light, love, and peace on Earth while aligning with grand cosmic rhythms.
Invocation as an Electrical Process
To invoke is to generate electricity. Much like a circuit forms between a positive and negative pole to create a flow of energy, invocation establishes a spiritual connection between the emanating (positive) and receptive (negative) forces of existence. This flow produces the electromagnetic etheric substance often referred to as "light."
This light, as described by Paul in the New Testament, is the "substance of things not seen"—a form of dark matter. Not dark because it is absent or black, but because it is translucid, existing within a realm that transcends ordinary perception. The act of invocation calls this unseen energy into manifestation, illuminating the spiritual dimensions of reality.
Breathing as an Act of Invocation
The Planetary Chain of Being
Each conscious breath we take mirrors the process of invocation. Breathing in creates a vacuum as we inhale oxygen, while exhaling releases energy in the form of carbon dioxide. This simple yet profound exchange supports the greater planetary life chain. Plants use the carbon dioxide we exhale for photosynthesis, converting it into glucose (the "bread of life") and oxygen, both of which sustain life on Earth.
Sunlight powers this process, and in esoteric traditions, the “disc of golden light” —the Sun— is seen as the Soul of our solar system, the source of both physical and spiritual light. Thus, each breath becomes a miniature invocation of light, aligning us with the planetary ecosystem in which "we live and move and have our being."
Inner Electronic Circuitry
The same principle operates within our bodies. Oxygen, once inhaled, fuels intracellular processes such as the Krebs (or citric acid) cycle. Deep in the mitochondria, this biochemical pathway breaks down nutrients, generating reducing agents (like NADH and NADH2) that supply electrons to the electron transport chain.
This chain is, in essence, a miniature electrical circuit. The movement of electrons generates a chemical gradient that produces ATP, the energy currency of life. Here, we see a clear correspondence between physical processes and spiritual principles. To invoke is to generate electricity—not only in the outer world but also within the microcosm of our own cells. Truly, as above, so below.
The Astrological Significance of World Invocation Day
A Grand Electrical Circuit
World Invocation Day falls each year on the Full Moon of Gemini, during which the Sun transits Gemini (the emanating pole), and the Moon aligns in its opposite sign, Sagittarius (the receptive pole). This cosmic alignment forms a powerful energetic circuit, grounded by Earth itself. Like the flow of electricity, the dynamic interplay between these celestial bodies embodies the act of invocation on a planetary scale.
A Metaphorical Framework for Electricity
Astrological air signs provide a compelling metaphor for understanding the components of electricity.
Gemini represents energy (measured in watts)—a driving force, quick and dynamic, that enables work to be done.
Libra symbolizes balance and polarity, much like voltage (the potential difference required to create energy flow).
Aquarius embodies current, the continuous flow of energy that connects and energizes.
The element of air ties these archetypes together, emphasizing electricity’s invisibility and its essential role in connecting and communicating energies. Just as air is vital yet unseen, so is the energy of electricity that powers our lives.
The Cosmic Clock and 2025 Alignments
The cosmic significance of World Invocation Day in 2025 is magnified by an extraordinary double sextile. Uranus, ruler of Aquarius, enters Gemini, while Pluto transitions into Aquarius, forming harmonious alignments with Neptune in Aries. This powerful configuration closes an energetic cycle that began in 1945, when the Great Invocation was first introduced to the world.

“August, which is ruled by Leo, is the month of the Dog-star, or of Sirius, which thus brings Sirius into close relation to Leo. Leo, in the cosmic sense (and apart from our solar system altogether) is ruled by Sirius. Sirius is the home of that greater Lodge to which our fifth initiation admits a man and to which it brings him, as a humble disciple. Later, when the new world religion is founded and is working, we shall find that the major, monthly festival in August, held at the time of the full moon, will be dedicated to the task of making contact, via the Hierarchy, with Sirian force. Each of the months of the year will later be dedicated (through accurate astrological and astronomical knowledge) to whichever constellation in the heavens governs a particular month, as Sirius governs Leo. This I shall later elaborate in the papers to be written anent the new "Approaches" to spiritual reality.” -The Tibetan Master in Esoteric Astrology, p. 229.
In archetypal cosmology, these alignments symbolize a new phase in humanity’s spiritual evolution. Uranus in Gemini empowers ingenuity and radical change, while Pluto in Aquarius catalyzes collective transformation. Together with Neptune in Aries, this sextile encourages visionary action and spiritual awakening, lighting the way for the Aquarian Era.
The Great Invocation as an Electrical Formula
The Great Invocation itself can be understood as an electrical formula for planetary healing and alignment:
Light corresponds to electromagnetic radiation, illuminating and revealing.
Love functions as voltage, balancing and harmonizing polarities.
Will operates as power (watts), energizing and manifesting purpose.
The result is Good, which seals the door to evil, and Peace, which is the result of right human relations. This formula grounds the Plan on Earth, serving as the Aquarian Age’s equivalent to the Lord’s Prayer, which guided humanity during the Age of Pisces.
A Call to Action
“Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan of Goodwill, Right Human Relations, and Peace on Earth.” These words echo the underlying purpose of World Invocation Day. The energies of “Harmony Through Conflict” are now releasing across the globe, producing temporary chaos but ultimately forging a new consciousness.
Take, for instance, Los Angeles, often regarded as the heart center of the United States. The city is witnessing immense social and cultural shifts as its melting pot of immigrant and indigenous communities shape a new vision of race consciousness. Such transformations may feel turbulent, but they are an essential part of the planetary evolution toward a more inclusive and harmonious future.
Closing Thoughts
World Invocation Day is more than a date on the calendar; it is an invitation to participate in the cosmic dance of energies, aligning our invocations with the rhythms of the Universe. By calling upon Light, Love, and Will, we take part in the Great Work of restoring peace and balance on this planet.
As we breathe, meditate, and invoke, we are not merely individuals but conduits of a greater circuit, generating electricity and light to illuminate the path forward—for ourselves, our communities, and the world.

Beautifully said, JB. Gratitude.
